The Glass Jar Refillery opened in October 2020 on Concession Street and is truly excited to be on the 'mountain'.
Let's eliminate single-use plastic TOGETHER and REUSE your own clean containers and bottles and REFILL them with shampoo, body lotion, beard oil, facial cleansing grains to all-purpose cleaner, dishwasher tabs and even hand soap – it’s the “weigh and pay” shopping experience!
The Glass Jar has a range of Canadian-made personal care products and household needs – made from ingredients that are ethically and locally sourced, plant-based and safe for the whole family.
Bring your own CLEAN containers/bottles/jars to be filled with a diverse collection of products!

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The Glass Jar Refillery is located and respectively conducts business and community interactions within and from Hamilton, Ontario.
As per the City of Hamilton:
“The City of Hamilton is situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We further acknowledge that this land is covered by the Between the Lakes Purchase, 1792, between the Crown and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
Today, the City of Hamilton is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island (North America) and we recognize that we must do more to learn about the rich history of this land so that we can better understand our roles as residents, neighbours, partners and caretakers.”
